Lunch Break

Lunch Break was made for the Philadelphia stop of the 2004 48 Hour Film Project tour, in which competing teams of filmmakers were challenged to make a short film—conception to completion—in one weekend. To keep everyone honest, teams were given a randomly-selected genre and a list of elements that must appear in the film. Our required elements were:
- Character: M. Drake, Magician
- Prop: Rolodex
- Line of dialogue: “Get a move on, there’s no time to lose!”
- Genre: Musical or Western
Competing against approximately forty films, Lunch Break made it into the Top Ten, screened at the Philadelphia Film Festival, and won the “Best Editing” award.
Responsibilities (with a team): Writing, Producing, and Directing
