Quadruped
Quadruped came about as a result of indecision and disagreement among its four creators (Kevin Cornell, Jason Santa Maria, Matt Sutter, and me), who convened in the summer of 2002 with the intention of collaborating on a design-oriented web site. When no one was willing to compromise his own unique vision for the site, it was decided to be four sites in one, with each participant commanding his own quadrant, and the expectation that those quadrants would work with and against each other, spatially and conceptually.
Peter Dalkner took over Jason’s quadrant in early 2003.
